About me:
Teodor Lucian Moga is lecturer in EU foreign affairs at the Centre for European Studies, "Alexandru Ioan Cuza" University of Iasi (UAIC), Romania. He has previously pursued a PhD in Economics and International Relations at UAIC and a MA in Political Science at the University of Manchester, UK, where he was a Chevening/Open Society scholar. In 2014-2015 he was holder of the Swiss Government Excellence Scholarship thanks to which he completed a post-doctoral programme at the University St Gallen, Switzerland. In the past he worked for the European Commission, British Embassy (Bucharest, Romania) and completed various research stays at the European Union Institute for Security Studies (Paris, France), the George C. Marshall European Center for Security Studies (Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Germany) and the Romanian Academy of Science. His research interests are: the EU foreign affairs, EU defence and security, EU-Russia relations, ENP, EaP, Ukraine and his most recent publication is "The role of bounded rationality in explaining the European Neighbourhood Policy" (Theorizing the ENP, Gstöhl,S., Schunz, S. (Eds.), Routledge, 2017). He is also the main organizer of the EURINT conference series, one of the most visible and relevant events in Central and Eastern Europe dedicated to the conceptualization of the EU foreign policy strategy and to the EU’s neighbourhood.
