Jose Manuel Sanchez Santos

I am a full professor of economics at Universidade da Coruña, where I teaches courses in monetary policy and financial systems. I got a PhD in economics with a thesis on seigniorage (the inflation tax). My current areas of research interest include sports economics, socio-economics, and monetary policy. I am the author of books and articles in peer-reviewed journals, and, since 2017, I took over as editor in chief of the European Journal of Government and Economics, of which I had already been associate editor between 2012 and 2016.
