Aims and scope:
This course will introduce you to Arabic language with a focus on oral communication, and is aimed at students of all ages and backgrounds. The oral focus of this course is today widely used in schools and universities worldwide for the introduction of Arabic as a foreign language. Presenting information about the Arabic-speaking world and its people, their main cultural events, popular festivals, music and customs, the course will also introduce you to Arab culture. By the end of this course, you will be able to introduce yourself and others, ask for things, buy in shops, thank people.
Methodology:
In this course you will be part of a small group of up to 8 students. The course will be entirely taught online, and live lectures and webinars will be supplementd by online written discussions based on Youtube videos selected by the teacher according to student interests and backgrounds. The course format is so uncomplicated that it can be taken in groups or individually, even without constant help from a local teacher.

1. Greeting people. 2. Introducing people. 3. Identifying people and things. 4. Asking for things (I'd like). 5. Buying things and asking for prices. 6. Replying to offers/Thanking.
